The Journey to South Goa We began this journey on the morning of 4th October 2019. 4th October 2019 (Friday) I got up at 4:30AM. I brushed my teeth and got ready. We kept the dental kit inside the bag. We wanted to start before 5AM because it takes around 11 hours to reach Goa by road from Bangalore by car if you go via the Chitradurga- Hubli highway. It was 10 minutes past 5 when the driver showed up at the our house. His name was Ramesh. He was suggested by one of my mother's friend Mr Toms. He used to work in the hospitality industry. Then I was told to get into the front seat because my father wanted to sleep in the back seat because he had not slept enough the previous night. It was a white Toyota Etios.
