Gaganyaan  ("Orbital Vehicle") is an Indian crewed orbital program  intended to be the basis of the Indian Human Space Flight Programme . The spacecraft  is being designed to carry three people, and a planned upgraded version will be equipped with rendezvous and docking capability.
